This is an exceptionally high quality 11 Bodhi Seed Mala. I hand picked this Mala when I was in Nepal for it's quality and appearance. I went on a Buddhist Pilgrimage in Kathmandu, Nepal in early 2020 and brought back a few nice items. I actually picked this up from a shop next to Swayambhunath Temple (also known as The Monkey Temple). The shop only sold Bodhi Seed Malas.
The seeds ("beads") on this Mala are ever so slightly shaved on each side. However, these beads look almost perfectly round. The color is a moist medium brown. I only have this one Mala left from Swayambhunath Temple. This one is 25.00 inches or 63.5cm long from the top to the bottom of the guru bead. The seeds are on average 11mm from side-to-side and 11mm tall.
Perfect for Buddhist practitioners from many traditions.
Accurate, beautiful, and hand crafted these Malas make the perfect gift, offering, or personal Dharma accessory to enhance and support your practice.
Hand picked by me in Nepal while on a Buddhist Pilgrimage in 2020.
