Bodhi Seed Mala - Light Brown Coloring - 11.25mm-12mm - Beginner Mala

Earlier this year in late March through early April 2025, I returned to Nepal continuing my practice of Buddhist Pilgrimage. Along the way, I hand-picked this item with other selected practice supplies, supports, and sacred objects.

This Bodhi Seed Mala has a soothing light brown color. I picked up from a seller in the Swayambhunath Stupa area, AKA The "Monkey Temple. The average size of the seeds are 11.25mm to 12.00mm. I am saying this is an "11.75mm" mala. The beads are not trimmed and have a lovely round shape. The length of the Mala is 23.25 inches or 59.10cm. The distance from the top past the guru bead to the bottom of the cord tails is 25.25 inches or 64.14cm. The mala offers a relaxed and soothing appearance. The light brown color has a an even tone and feels very nice during mantra practice. This is an excellent "starter" Bodhi Seed mala for yourself or as a gift.

The 3-eye guru bead has beautiful color, is uniform and round, and has a size of 18.5mm. This Bodhi Seed mala is laced with a single loop of red nylon cord that is braided and therefore is tied off. This is a beautiful mala.
