This year in late May and early June I went to Nepal for Saga Dawa as a Buddhist Pilgrimage. Along the way, I picked up a number of items. Over the next couple of weeks I will get all my items posted.
These skull Bhums are very sticking counters. I picked these up from a small shop near Boudhanath Stupa in Kathmandu. The owner was very nice and knowledgable. I am very happy to be able to offer this again.
These large sized Bhum Counters are excellent for medium to large sized malas. The skull is 27mm long and 13mm wide with a total weight is 4.1 grams.
A Bhum is used to mark location on your mala and to keep tract of tens of hundreds of thousands and even millions of mantra. These are often referred to as million marker counters.
